Collector Archives is creating a permanent digital record for the complete life of a vehicle—preserving its history, documentation, provenance, maintenance, value, and stories across generations of ownership.
This presentation introduces the vision behind Collector Archives, the problem it's solving, and the opportunity to build the trusted system of record for collector vehicles.
I'm currently applying for grants and exploring funding opportunities that can help move Collector Archives from product design and validation into development. Funding will primarily support engineering, infrastructure, product development, research, and the work required to bring the first version of the platform to market.
The initial product is being built for individual collector vehicle owners and professional collection managers, with a longer-term vision for enterprise products and industry partnerships.
A collector vehicle can live for generations. Its records rarely do. Collector Archives is designed to create a permanent archive that stays with the vehicle as ownership changes—ultimately becoming the trusted system of record for its complete life.
The opportunity begins with individual owners and professional collections, but the long-term vision extends to the broader collector vehicle ecosystem and the organizations that research, inspect, appraise, restore, insure, finance, transport, sell, and preserve these vehicles.
